Gardening

Well, it's been well over a week since the last post. Time does fly. Two days ago the water pump on Brandi's pick up quit working. Her dad took it over to a friends and yesterday I helped him change it. everything was going well then we were refilling the radiator and noticed that there was more fluid dripping onto the ground. Sure enough, somehow there was a hole in the radiator. Well, that was patched last night by a guy for free! Today it will be put back in and hopefully the truck will be back in workinng condition later today. Brandi got a message on Tuesday from Ford, they wanted her to come back to work there temporarily until September. When she called them back they wanted her to start on Friday. We prayed on this and tonight Brandi starts back to work. Near the end of July, the plant will be closed for three weeks, and possibly a week or two in August. For that reason it is nice, and also it will help in the transition from military pay to my civilian pay. I have no idea when I will get my first Whole Foods paycheck, as I start the very last day of June.

Hemi has three or four teeth coming in right now, so she is drooling like no ones businness, and is sometimes overly fussy. I can't blame her! Her two top front teeth and her left eye tooth is coming in. Her right eye tooth is already in (I call her fangor) as well as her bottom two middle teeth. I believe she has another one on the bottom coming in but I am not sure. Hemi is also pulling herself up and standing next to things like the couch, your legs, ect. She has even started to walk along the couch which is awesome. She has had a few falls, but usually she recovers real quick. We are unsure if she is more intrested in walking, or climbing. She always tries to climb up onto the couch.

Yesterday evening we did some gardening, we got this awesome deal on Hosta's last sunday after visiting Brandi's grandfather in the hospital (he has congestive heart failure). We were leaving the hospital and I went the wrong way. So we turned around in a Sutherland's parking lot and Brandi asked me to stop. They had ton's of Hosta's on sale for a dollar a plant! Normally they are in the 8 dollar price range. Brandi made an arangement last night around one of the pine tree's in back. She still has a bunch left to plant.

HOME!!!

Well, I am finally home and life is definately wonderful! I arrived home Memorial Day Weekend, which was my own Memorial Day Weekend Miracle! Hemi adjusted to me pretty quickly, which is totally awesome and is a definate answer to my prayers. Brandi says it is because Hemi recogized me as someone who has the same kind of hair as her.
So far since being home Bradi, Hemi and I have been to the zoo and Branson. Today is my first day alone with Hemi and things are going well. Brandi had a summons to be a juror today and is upset about having to leave her daughter. Hemi is doing okay, but she definately knows mommy isn't here. Anywho, here are some pics

At the Zoo!

Not sure where this one was taken... Probably a parking lot somewhere

When we got to Brason ad checked into our room, we went to the pool. There were three screaming kids already in there and an unconcerned mother. Hemi was fine for a while, but the screaming kids, started screeching at the top of there lungs and Hemi was upset the rest of the time. but here is her and Mom when she was doing okay.

Here is a pic of our hotel room, Hemi loved it, she had free range! There was a glass coffee table and dining room table that she could crawl under and look at us through which she enjoyed when Brandi and I would eat.

This past Saturday night while in Branson brandi, Hemi and I hooked up with Damon, june and the brood. It was fun seeing all my nephews and nieces, also beating Brandi at a round of miniature golf was nice. She talked a lot of smack before hand, in her defense Hemi was really tired and was a bit distracting. This pic and the one below are from the kids amusement roadside spectacle where we were at.

On Suday we road the ducks, a really fun thing to do. Brandi was a great sport as she dislikes being out on large expanses of water. After that we went to the Butterfly Palace. It was really neat. They brought out a tortoise which as you can see in the followig Pics hemi totally adored! She is definately a animal lover!
